As the international break winds down, Real Madrid has provided a crucial update on the fitness of several key first-team players. With the title race entering its most decisive phase, the coaching staff is closely monitoring the recovery of sidelined stars ahead of the trip to Mallorca.
The Injury Ward: Who is Returning?
The latest session at Valdebebas brought a mix of cautious optimism and steady rehabilitation for the Merengues.
- Dani Ceballos: The midfielder is the closest to a full return. Ceballos completed a portion of today’s group session and followed it with specialized individual drills. He is expected to be available for selection against Mallorca.
- Ferland Mendy: The French left-back continues to work solo on the grass. While he hasn’t rejoined the full group yet, his progress suggests he is in the final stages of his recovery program.
- Thibaut Courtois: The Belgian wall remains in the treatment room. The medical staff is taking a zero-risk approach with his recovery, focusing on a gradual reintroduction to team dynamics.
- Rodrygo: The Brazilian forward continues his rehabilitation process. While he is making strides, the club is prioritizing his long-term fitness over a rushed return.
