While we wait for him to officially pull on the white shirt at the Bernabéu, Endrick is busy making sure every defender in Europe knows his name. Currently on loan at Lyon, our Brazilian wonderkid just reminded everyone why the club fought so hard for his signature.
In a high-pressure French Cup clash against Laval, Endrick turned a frustrating night into a personal highlight reel with one swing of his boot.
The Breakdown: Lyon 2-0 Laval
It wasn’t a “walk in the park” for the teenager. For 80 minutes, it looked like a night to forget:
- The Struggle: Closely marked and starved of space, Endrick found it hard to get into his usual rhythm.
- The Injury Scare: Madridistas everywhere held their breath when he took a heavy knock to his ankle.
- The Resilience: True to the Madrid spirit, he shook it off and stayed on the pitch, waiting for his moment.
80th Minute: “The Missile”
With the game on a knife-edge at 1-0, Endrick received the ball and unleashed what French media are calling a “rocket.” It was a trademark strike—raw power, zero hesitation, and clinical placement. The goalkeeper was a spectator.
This wasn’t just a goal; it was a statement. In just five matches for Lyon, Endrick has been a statistical machine:
- 5 Goals
- 1 Assist
- 6 Goal involvements total
Real Madrid Reacts: “Our Monster”
The chemistry in our squad is already bubbling over. Even from miles away, our Brazilian stars were watching. Shortly after the final whistle, the social media tributes poured in:
Rodrygo: “He doesn’t stop.”
Vinicius Jr.: “Our Monster.”
It’s clear that Vini and Rodrygo aren’t just seeing a future teammate; they’re seeing a peer who is ready for the biggest stages.
Why This Matters for Us
Endrick isn’t just “getting minutes” in France; he is learning how to be the protagonist. He’s proving he can handle physical play, recover from mid-game knocks, and deliver the winning blow when the lights are brightest.
If this is the version of Endrick we’re getting, the future of our frontline isn’t just bright—it’s terrifying for the rest of Europe.
