Cádiz CF have officially confirmed that academy product Guille González is leaving the club to join Real Madrid, and they marked the occasion with a heartfelt tribute to his journey through the youth system.

González joined Cádiz at just 12 years old and progressed step by step through the academy ranks, impressing at every stage before earning his debut this season with Mirandilla. In their statement, Los Amarillos expressed pride in his development, thanked him for his contribution to the club, and wished him success in the next chapter of his career—adding that Cádiz will always remain his home.
It is understood the deal is worth around €500,000, and González is expected to start out with Real Madrid Juvenil A, where the club will aim to continue his development with the long-term goal of pushing toward Castilla in the coming years.
Real Madrid have built a strong reputation for developing young talent in recent seasons. Opportunities can come quickly when form and circumstances align, and several academy players have earned chances across the pathway when needed. The message is clear: there is always a route upward for those who keep performing.
With January underway, Madrid may still monitor other young targets, but most potential additions are expected to be for the future—unless a standout opportunity becomes impossible to ignore.
