Carvajal Returns to Real Madrid Training Ahead of Spanish Super Cup

Dani Carvajal has taken a big step toward his return after rejoining Real Madrid’s squad training on Friday. The right-back has been out for around two months following a knee issue picked up during El Clásico, and his presence has been missed both on the pitch and in the dressing room.

Carvajal did train with the group, but he did not complete the full session, which makes his availability for Sunday’s home match against Real Betis unlikely. Even so, the timing is encouraging for Los Blancos, who are preparing to travel to Saudi Arabia next week for the Spanish Super Cup.

With key games approaching, Real Madrid will be eager to regain momentum. Recent results have increased the pressure around the squad, and the coming fixtures could prove decisive for the direction of the season.

If Carvajal is not ready to start when Madrid face Atlético Madrid next week, Fede Valverde is expected to be the leading option to fill in at right-back.
