RM Castilla winger Jeremy De León has officially announced his departure from Real Madrid, bringing an end to his tenure at Valdebebas. The Puerto Rican international, who joined the club in January 2024 from CD Castellón, has finalized a transfer to Catalan side UE Sant Andreu.

De León took to social media to share a heartfelt farewell message to Madridistas, reflecting on his journey from Puerto Rico to representing the club of his dreams.
“Some Dreams Just Change Course”
In his emotional statement, De León expressed his gratitude for wearing the iconic white shirt and inspired young athletes back home in Puerto Rico:
“There are goodbyes you’re never truly prepared to write. Ever since it all began in Puerto Rico, I dreamed of wearing this jersey. It has always been the club of my heart, and being able to make it a reality was a privilege I will always be grateful for.
I’d be lying if I said it didn’t hurt. It hurts to close a chapter at the club I always dreamed of representing… Even so, no one can take away the pride I feel in having defended this badge and in having been part of the best team in the world.
If there’s anything that makes me especially proud of this whole journey, it’s being able to look back and think that the kid from Puerto Rico who dreamed of getting here made it. I hope my story helps many kids on my island see that it is possible… Dream big. Believe in yourselves and never let anyone tell you how far you can go. Hala Madrid, today and always!”
